Asst. Night Manager: The Assistant Night Manager role involves effectively managing evening shelter operations, providing trauma-informed crisis intervention, counseling, and advocacy, and ensuring a safe living environment. Responsibilities include substituting for staff, conducting security checks, making community referrals, maintaining files, and participating in team meetings. The position requires effective communication, collaboration with colleagues, and the ability to self-manage and work independently. This individual will work predominantly independently. An interest in and/or knowledge of domestic violence issues is helpful. The individual must be willing to complete a 60-hour counselor/advocate training.
